Future Member

A number of projects aiming to develop evidence based solutions in gender intersectionality studies, sustainable health, climate migration studies and displace and social protection are welcome for collaboration. Postdoctoral researchers, research higher degree (PhD, Masters and MPhil), honours and undergraduate students are welcome to join our group for mentorship and supervision.

Masters, Mphil and Honours

The centre through its research leads are willing to colloborate with student who have interests in GH-SCLIMDISCENTRE research areas. He/She will need to demonstrate adaptability to the multidisciplinary nature of the projects. Masters, MPhil and Honours students are encouraged to contact Dr. Dr. Appiah to express his/her interest to be mentored or supervised by the centre.

PHD

The centre is open to colloborations with related organizations for academic supervision of PhD students, both to domestic and international. Requests and enquiries should be sent to  Dr. Dr. Appiah.

Key criteria

Domestic students –The students should have strong academic track record (including research and write-up) with a good first degree class. The student’s research and academic background might be in one or more of the GH-SCLIMDISCENTRE research domains.

International students – For an international student, s/he is expected to have masters and honours degrees with very strong academic and research background in a relevant field. The students should have strong academic track record (including research and write-up). The student’s research and academic background might be in one or more of the GH-SCLIMDISCENTRE research domains.

PHD OPPORTUNITIES

PhD opportunities with government and university-funded scholarships are currently not available. The centre is however open to collaborate with scholarship organizations for the provision of PhD opportunities to qualified candidates.
